Aroma Ministries (Sri Lanka) commenced in 1989 following a visit by Colin and Paddy Patterson when doing short-term missions on OM's ship: MV Doulos. They met Pastor Rodney and decided to start the ministry by planting a church at Madampe (1.5hrs out of Colombo). This was completed in 1995. The whole purpose of the ministry was, and still is, to preach the gospel, win people to Christ and plant churches. 

The Children’s Homes - Dilan (Rodney's son) and his wife Malki - with their children Bethany and Brianna - are finally established in charge of the homes which are now registered separately from the church - a government requirement. Two women are employed to run the girls' home. This is a real praise point as it was really too much for Dilan and Malki, as the boy's home is an hour drive from the girl's home. 

The Aroma Homes are run in partnership with FCF. The homes themselves are located in and serve the children of Sri Lanka, and the administration and much financial support come from FCF and our congregation.
